Uncle Kyle!

(and Auntie Alana and Avery, too!)...

We had an unexpected treat yesterday! My brother in law Kyle Johnstone was returning from a trip to Ensenada doing volunteer building with a team from his work in Calgary. He had a few hours free when getting back across the border, so we went down to Balboa Park to spend an afternoon with him. His cousin Alana was available to visit as well, so we had a nice time chatting and playing with the kids.

Later that evening, we went to Coronado and had dinner together. Our girls love Kyle (and Judy, too...) so much! It's too bad they don't live closer! We are sure looking forward to the Christmas get-together!




L sure wanted to climb the tree like her sister, but once she got up there, she wasn't so sure about it! :)
